LINDA
BIRKENFELD is an experienced entertainment attorney, licensed in New
York and New Jersey. She feels it’s important to keep rates low so that
emerging artists can afford good advice. The biggest mistake that any artist can
make is to sign anything before they have it reviewed by an attorney!
Linda worked her way through college and law school by bartending at The Fastlane,
The Stone Pony, and The Saint; the main live music venues in Asbury Park, New
Jersey. While working at these clubs she grew to truly appreciate the hard work
and dedication of the many talented artists that she had the pleasure of seeing.
It was during that time that she knew she always wanted to be involved in music, and
especially to help out developing artists.
LINDA BIRKENFELD has full knowledge of music-related issues including recording agreements,
performance and tour agreements, all types of music licensing, management
agreements, production agreements, and copyright. In addition to music, she has
experience in other entertainment areas and can handle all agreements dealing
with film, television, theatre and book publishing. She can also help with
business formation and partnership agreements.
