ABOUT THE STUDIO

ROADSWEEPER STUDIOS was founded in 2003 and is a live recording facility located in the beautiful Malvern Hills, Worcestershire. It is the personal recording facility of reggae/world music artist Ben Okafor (www.benokafor.com). It has been designed from Ben’s experience as a professional artist, for artists.  

ROADSWEEPER STUDIOS opens its doors to artists from all genres, all levels of attainment, all ages and all backgrounds who earnestly seek to explore their talent in an environment which is professional, inspiring and supportive.

Great Malvern is the ideal location for this facility. It currently has a vibrant and diverse community of musicians and members of the wider creative network. Malvern’s residents historically have ranged from Edward Elgar to H.I.M Haile Selassie. It continues to attract those who value the relationship between their environment and artistic creativity. Malvern is easily accessible by road and rail and is well served by restaurants, pubs, hotels and bed and breakfasts catering for a diverse range of customers and budgets.
